Team Friends In Deed Raises Over $60,000 for AIDS Walk New York!

Team Friends In Deed!

 

This past Sunday, May 20^th, Team Friends In Deed participated in the 27^th AIDS Walk New York as a Community Partnership Program (CPP) team. In the bright morning sun, we gathered in Central Park as one community united for a common cause. Brought together in memory of loved ones lost and in honor of those living with HIV/AIDS, we began the morning at our team table enjoying breakfast, sharing in rich conversations and posing for team pictures. After months of fundraising and preparing for the event, it was wonderful for all team members, both new and old, to finally meet before embarking on the physical part of the AIDS Walk.

To this date, Team Friends In Deed has raised over $60,000 through the efforts of many committed walkers, supporters, friends and family members. We just can’t thank everyone enough for the tremendous support we received again this year!

We look forward to walking with you again next year!

Did It Again.

On Sunday, May 15^th, Team Friends In Deed participated in the 26^th AIDS Walk New York as a Community Partnership Program (CPP) team.  After the heavy rain subsided, our team gathered for breakfast and team photos in a most verdant Central Park. After months of fundraising and preparing for the event it was wonderful for all team members, both new and old, to finally meet.  The mood was both reflective and celebratory. Dressed in glorious red Friends In Deed t-shirts and armed with umbrellas, our team was a shining demonstration of love, commitment and honor!

   

To this date, Team Friends In Deed has raised over $56,000 through the efforts of many committed walkers, supporters, friends and family members. We just can’t thank everyone enough for the tremendous support we received again this year!

 

 

We look forward to walking with you again next year!
